Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR
Swab Test for Travellers

Travellers have been advised to book an appointment with our clinic as soon as possible for their pre-departure testing. Travellers are to present at the clinic at least 2 hours prior to, and no later than, the stipulated cut-off timing in the table below. You are advised to present as early as possible, within your required testing window.

Travellers who do not adhere to this cut-off timing will not be able to obtain the results in time for departure.

 Travellers who have received approval to travel under Singapore’s Green/Fast Lane arrangements with other countries or who hold a My TravelPass under the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) with Malaysia may book a pre-departure test as part of the RGL approvals.

·       The cost of the PCR test is to be borne by the applicant.

·    You are responsible for checking for your testing window that is in line with your destination country’s requirement.

You should make an appointment that fits your required testing window and be present at the clinic early for the appointment. 

What details will I need to book an appointment for the PCR test?

Please have the following information on hand when making an appointment for your test:

  1. Identity card number and passport number
  2. Departure flight timing (if applicable)
  3. Possible times for your test slot: Please refer to the Test Schedule to confirm your timing
  4. Address in Singapore
  5. Contact number
  6. Email address

What documents should I bring for my appointment?

Please bring the following:

  1. Identity card and passport
  2. Soft copy booking reference showing your departure flight timing (if applicable)

When can I expect to get my PCR test results?

You will receive your PCR test results and memo at least three hours before your departure, if you met the cut-off timing at your clinic. Please let the clinic know if you need to receive the memo by a certain time.

The clinic will email the results to your email address. You will need to print and bring the memo overseas yourself.

1.      You are responsible for checking for your testing window that is in line with your destination country’s requirement.

2.      You should make an appointment that fits your required testing window, and be present at the clinic early for the appointment, at least 48 hours prior to flight. Travellers who present at the clinic less than 38-40 hours to the flight may not be able receive the result in time for the flight.

Asymptomatic patients may display no symptoms of illness. Vulnerable people should get vaccinated against Influenza which protects susceptible people from, as well as exclude the Flu and H1N1 viruses should they start to show URTI or ARI symptoms.
