AIPC is part of MOH's Swab & Go Home programme. Our clinic can carry out the COVID-19 Swab test for anyone who meets the MOH medical criteria. From 1 Jul 20, all individuals aged 13 and above, diagnosed with ARI will be COVID Swab-tested. Cost of Swab test to be borne by Ministry of Health Singapore.

AIPC is part of the National Influenza Sentinel Surveillance programme with MOH. If you have a fever of > 38 degrees with a cough, our clinic is able to test for COVID-19. For children below 12 years old with clinical diagnosis of HFMD (eg fever, oral ulcers, rash), our clinic can test for Hand Foot & Mouth Disease (The tests are for surveillance purposes only).

Up to $400 per Medisave Account per year can be used for Vaccinations under the National Adult & Childhood Immunisation Schedule - Influenza, Pneumococcal (PCV13/PPSV), Human Papillomavirus (HPV2/HPV4), Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap), Measles, Mumps & Rubella (MMR) and Chickenpox (Varicella).

Swab Test for Travellers

CHARGES for pre-departure testing : S$200.00 inclusive of GST and laboratory testing charges

Eligibility : Only eligible travellers (and their accompanying children, if any), i.e. those with the approval letters.

Travellers have been advised to book an appointment with our clinic as soon as they have gotten approval for the pre-departure testing. Travellers are to present at the clinic at least 2 hours prior to, and no later than, the stipulated cut-off timing in the table below. You are advised to present as early as possible, within your required testing window.

Travellers who do not adhere to this cut-off timing will not be able to obtain the results in time for departure.

Application for Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR Test

Travellers who have received approval to travel under Singapore’s Green/Fast Lane arrangements with other countries or who hold a My TravelPass under the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) with Malaysia need not apply as they are already eligible to book a pre-departure test as part of the RGL approvals.

·       All other travellers must apply to be eligible for a pre-departure COVID-19 PCR test. The cost of the PCR test is to be borne by the applicant.

·       You are responsible for checking for your testing window that is in line with your destination country’s requirement.

·       Please ensure you have the approval letter before you proceed to the clinic. Persons without prior approval will not be allowed to purchase a pre-departure test.

You should make an appointment that fits your required testing window and be present at the clinic early for the appointment. Please ensure you have obtained prior approval from a Singapore government agency before calling the clinic to make the appointment.

What details will I need to book an appointment for the PCR test?

Please have the following information on hand when making an appointment for your test:

  1. Approval email to take the pre-departure PCR swab test
  2. Identity card number and passport number
  3. Departure flight timing (if applicable)
  4. Possible times for your test slot: Please refer to the Test Schedule to confirm your timing
  5. Address in Singapore
  6. Contact number
  7. Email address
What documents should I bring for my appointment?

Please bring the following:

  1. Identity card and passport
  2. Approval letter to take the pre-departure PCR swab test
  3. Softcopy booking reference showing your departure flight timing (if applicable)
When can I expect to get my PCR test results?

You will receive your PCR test results and memo at least three hours before your departure, if you met the cut-off timing at your clinic. Please let the clinic know if you need to receive the memo by a certain time.

The clinic will email the results to your email address. You will need to print and bring the memo overseas yourself.

1.      You are responsible for checking for your testing window that is in line with your destination country’s requirement. Please ensure you have obtained prior approval from a Singapore government agency before calling the clinic to make the appointment.

2.      You should make an appointment that fits your required testing window, and be present at the clinic early for the appointment, at least 48 hours prior to flight. Travellers who present at the clinic less than 38-40 hours to the flight may not be able receive the result in time for the flight.
